Step 3:
Come
to membership meetings
This one costs no more than the fuel to get
there, unless you buy dinner (which, by the way, is highly recommended). We
meet the first Tuesday of each month at the Ranch House Restaurant in Santee.
Sit with like-minded folks who love off-roading and want to hear the issues and
do something to help. We discuss past and future events like meetings, shows,
parades, poker runs and lawsuits. We are always looking for volunteers. Would
you like to be in the Lakeside Parade, volunteer at our Off-Road Exposition,
sell raffle tickets at a show or go to a serious meeting to represent SDORC? Our
monthly meetings are where we figure out who is doing what. Or just come and
listen. We are all volunteers, so part of the thanks we get is having you there
to hear what we are doing.
